Graduated in Pharmacy (2011), Master in Biotechnology from the
Biotechnology Center of the Federal University of Espírito Santo - UFES - (2013) and PhD
in Biotechnology from RENORBIO/UFES (2018). Served as professor, accumulating over three year of experience.
My personal goal is to mechanistically understand the role of germline and somatic genetic factors
involved in predisposition, initiation, progression, and response to therapy of diseases
allowing the identification of better therapeutics and diagnostics strategies.
I envision my future research to span across some interrelated areas of regulatory
mechanisms and gene expression. The unifying theme of the research will be the
construction of genome mapping of regulatory elements involved in gene expression
to each human cell type.
